New Outdoor Activities for Easter Holiday Club

Friday, 27 February 2015

Kidzone is delighted to announce two new outdoor activities that will take place as part of the Easter Holiday Club agenda, which runs from Thursday 26 March to Monday 13 April inclusive.

An Adventure Walk will take place on Wednesday 1 April at Rivington Country Park and will be open to children in Year 3 upwards (to the age of 13). During the day, children will learn outdoor skills as well as finding out more about the history of the country park.

A week later, on Wednesday 8 April, all children will be able to take part in an Adventure Day at the Anderton Centre at Rivington. Children will enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including archery, kayaking and den-building.

The two days will complement the busy Easter Agenda at Bolton School's Kidzone which includes lots of fun activities such as Easter Egg hunts, swimming, hockey, puppet shows, baking, Henna hand-painting, kite-making and flying, origami and music. The full agenda can be downloaded here. The holiday club is suitable to all children aged 4 to 13 years.

Kidzone will, once again, offer individual tutor sessions throughout the holiday. These will be carried out by qualified teachers and tailored around each child's individual academic level, following a discussion of wants/requirements with parents and carers. There will be a charge of £30 per hour and these sessions need to be booked by Wednesday 18 March.
