Summer Fun at Kidzone Holiday Club

Wednesday, 17 August 2016

The summer activities are now in full swing at Kidzone, Bolton School's Wraparound Childcare facility.

The children have been busy painting their own tiles with fantastic images from their imagination, going on a bug hunt, unleashing their creativity on Hama Bead designs, and hand-making their own individual bird feeders.

They have also enjoyed an exciting Adventure Day at the Anderton Centre, which was a particular highlight of the Holiday Club so far. The children got involved with various activities outdoors in the recent spell of excellent weather, which really added to the whole experience. They were challenged to stack up a tower of crates as high as they could while balancing two team-members on to - something which was a lot more difficult than it first seemed! They also had a go at archery and tried to improve their skills over the course of the session. The ropes course provided another fun opportunity for team-building as the children worked their way through the obstacles as a group and helped one another to succeed.

This is just a selection of what the children have been up to during the first week of their holidays. There are even more activities on offer over the coming weeks before the start of the new school year.
